What is Interchange?
Interchange is the price that the card brands, like VISA, charge you for using their network. The cost varies based on the credit card used, your business vertical, and if it is in person or "card not present".

Will my new merchant account work with online stores or QuickBooks?
Unfortunately, QuickBooks, WooCommerce and various other software providers and platforms force you to sign up with them as your merchant service provider. They offer varying support for merchant services not provided by them. Please verify with your service provider that they can plug in your new processing credentials and support your use case.
